ANTA Chandler Parsons PE Sole – 8.5/10
The ANTA Chandler Parsons PE by ANTA Sportswear features a wavy herringbone pattern and it works really well. We tested these out on a few indoor courts and we didn’t experience any slipping or any problems.
It’s not a secret that the herringbone pattern works well in general so this shoe is pretty good. You will not have any problems with cuts and changing direction on court.
ANTA Chandler Parsons PE Cushion – 8.5/10
ANTA went with the standard EVA cushioning system which is great. Right out of the box, we were extremely surprised to feel that it had a bit of bounce in the forefoot area which made it feel extremely comfortable on the foot.
On court, it was great all around and provided exceptional impact protection from heel to the forefoot. It felt good and that basically all you really need to know. It provided a great and comfortable ride on every one of our runs.
ANTA Chandler Parsons PE Materials – 8.7/10
The materials featured in the ANTA Chandler Parsons PE are pretty standard. The shoe is engineered with mesh overlays for the upper, combined with fuse material to provide additional durability, but is still quite comfortable.
Compared to the previous Parsons PE, this looks considerably better and is the best constructed shoe from ANTA that we’ve got our hands on so far.
We also enjoyed the additional mesh area, that made it softer, and allowed the foot to move freely whilst keeping the support throughout the fuse materials.
ANTA Chandler Parsons PE Fit – 8.5/10
ANTA’s sizing varies from each model so you have to try on the shoes in the store before making a purchase.
The upper of the ANTA Chandler Parsons PE features mesh overlays along with fuse around the toe lace area to enhance durability. The shoe doesn’t really mold to your foot, however it does do a great job in keeping it contained. Furthermore, the shoe’s lace loops run down to the midsole region right at the midfoot like straps that secure your foot in place at all times.
Lockdown on this shoe was great and we didn’t really feel slipping on the inside. The shoe also has an internal heel counter that does a great job of containing your heel and preventing it from moving around.
Furthermore, additional cushioning right by the heel tab provides your ankle with that extra hug that is also great. The materials are soft enough as it didn’t restrict your foot from moving and we found that there was no pinching anywhere.
ANTA Chandler Parsons PE Support – 8.2/10
The main support of the ANTA Chandler Parsons PR comes from the fit and the midfoot straps that are designed to keep your foot locked in. The shoe also features an internal heel counter that is engineered to keep your heel always in place. As mentioned previously, we didn’t experience any heel slipping and that is always a great thing.
In addition, a midfoot shank is present on the outsole for extra stability and support, while an outrigger stops your foot from rolling.
