Michael Jordan Receives The Presidential Medal of Freedom



Michael Jordan is not only regarded as the best basketball player in history, he is also one of the greatest athletes of all time. In one of his last acts as President of the United States of America, Barak Obama awarded MJ the nation’s highest civilian honor with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Michael played 15 seasons in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls winning six championships; he is currently the chairman and a principal owner of the Charlotte Hornets.

Other accomplishments during his career include five Most Valuable Player awards, two Olympic Gold Medals and he appeared in 14 All-Star games.
